I am an silversmith / jeweller working out of my studio on beautiful Bruny Island, Tasmania. My practice explores relationships to landscape, place and interconnections with our environment, whether my own or of people long gone.
My work is all hand fabricated, I find it a powerful learning experience to make by observation, to find ways of morphing materials into new forms.
My work considers the effect that humankind has on its environment and conversely the powerful impact these landscapes can have on their inhabitants.
Precious metals, natural and found materials are combined and transformed into objects and wearable tokens that carry an essence of connection, memory and belonging.
