To me spoons, by their very form, are a symbol of giving and generosity, and also of containment. They are a universally recognisable object and one that, in varying degrees of beauty and design, is probably used by everybody everywhere around the world everyday.

I love to make spoons that can be both unusual though practical and also ones that question their practicality altogether; to embellish the form of the spoon, to ascribe meaning by changing the form or material of the handle,
